12-panel exhibit

Summary

Under the Provencal sun, over a life spanning close to a century, Jean-Henri Fabre produced an exceptional scientific and literary work. Through his poetic observation of insects, he laid the foundations for ecology and the study of animal behaviour. Fabre was to become one of the greatest scientists and educators, and his influence was felt throughout the world.
But whereas in the West he has gradually faded into obscurity, he still has a cult following in the East.
